It would have been absolutely unforgivable of me not to have included a full list of all the Doctors in one of my first posts, so here goes!

So here we go, we’ll start from way back in 1963:
The First Doctor – William Hartnell
William Hartnell first appeared in Doctor Who on November 23rd 1963 in “An Unearthly Child” and made his final appearance in the episode “The Tenth Planet” on October 29th 1966
The Second Doctor – Patrick Troughton
Patrick Traughton made his first appearance as the Doctor on October 29th 1966 in “The Tenth Planet” and “regenerated” on 21st June 1969 in the Episode “The War Games”
The Third Doctor – John Pertwee
John Pertwee was the first Doctor I remember, as I became fascinated by the series when I was two years old, he first graced our screens in “Spearhead From Space” on 8th June 1974 and made his final appearance in “Planet of the Spiders” on the 8th June 1974
The Fourth Doctor – Tom Baker
Tom Baker first appeared as Doctor Who on “Planet of the Spiders back on June 8th 1974 and made his final appearance on 21st March 1981 in the episode “Logopolis”
The Fifth Doctor – Peter Davison
Peter Davison played the Doctor from March 21st 1981 his first episode being Logopolis, He stayed as the Doctor until “The Caves of Androzan” on March 16th 1984
The Sixth Doctor – Colin Baker
Colin Baker took over as the Doctor on March 16th 1984 in “The Caves of Androzini” and played him until December 6th 1986, although he did miss a couple of scenes: The Trial of a Time Lord
Part Fourteen (The Ultimate Foe Episode 2) (not played by Colin Baker for regeneration in Time and the Rani; Sylvester McCoy played the part for this scene)
The Seventh Doctor – Sylvester McCoy
Sylvester McCoy Played the Doctor from September 7th 1987 in the “Time and the Rani” until “Survival” on December 6th 1989 although he did make a return on May 27th 1996 for the Doctor Who television movie.
The Eighth Doctor – Paul McGann
Paul Mcgann only made one appearance as the doctor, this was in “Doctor Who: The Movie” on May 27th 1996
The Ninth Doctor – Christopher Eccleston
For many new-wave Doctor who fans, Christopher Eccleston is seen as the 1st Doctor, making his 1st appearance with Billy Piper in the epesode “Rose” on March 26th 2005, and Parted as the Doctor in “The Parting of the Ways” just two months later on June 18th 2005.
The Tenth Doctor – David Tennant
David Tennant began playing the Doctor on June 18th 2005 in the episode “The Parting of the Ways” and continues to play an exceptional Doctor to this day!
