Another Eastenders cast-off joining Doctor Who? Well, according to Twitter, there is.Ex~Eastenders star Dean Gaffney has revealed on the micro~blog service, Twitter, that he has been filming on Doctor Who.

Updating his fans yesterday he said: “Sorry about the lack of tweets been filming for the new Dr Who.” Dean Gaffney is well~known in the UK for his role as Robbie Jackson in the long~running soap Eastenders. He recently appeared in the Ricky Gervais comedy Extras.

As revealed earlier this week, filming has continued on the specials in a quarry in Wales. Director Graeme Harper has been spotted on set suggesting that this is the second of the specials being filmed as Euros Lyn is helming the two~part finale.
