The Ood take their third outing in Doctor Who, popping up in the specials.Filming on the second Doctor Who special continued last night in Newport, Wales with some returning monsters from the show making an appearance.
Spotted on~set, alongside David Tennant and Lyndsay Duncan, was an Ood. The creature was clothed similarly to “Ood Sigma” from last year’s Planet Of The Ood. Earlier this week filming took place in a quarry where David Tennant was seen wearing the orange spacesuit from 2006’s The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit.
Fake snow filled the streets of Newport last night suggesting that this could well be the Christmas episode; directing is Graeme Harper.
