The Guinness edit-in-cheif Craig Glenday handed a very proud Russel T Davies the award last Sunday stating “it is too good a show to have just one record.”
It was only back in 2006 when Doctor Who recieved a Guinness record for longest running sci-fi series.
This time doctor Who has been awarded;
‘most successful’ sci-fi series ever
The award was based on Doctor Who’s broadcast ratings, DVD sales and iTunes traffic.
