Children in Need Update
21st Nov 2011Doctor Who has been a staunch supporter of Children in Need for decades but this year its presence on the big night was extra special!
We had the new scene featuring Matt Smith and written by Steven Moffat, plus the first trailer for the Christmas Special. In addition, the Time Lord’s costume, as worn in The Doctor’s Wife and Night Terrors, was put up for auction for Children in Need.
Bidding has been incredibly generous – you can follow progress here. The auction closes tomorrow (Tuesday) evening so if you want to bid for a piece of iconic television history, there’s still time!
