A Word from the Doctor…

11th May 2011

We’ve already told you about Script to Screen but now it’s the Doctor’s turn to have a word with you about the brilliant competition which could see you writing for Doctor Who!

If you’re aged 9-11 years old and want to write an adventure set in the TARDIS that will be brought to life by the Doctor Who team including Matt Smith, then Script to Screen, is definitely for you.

Step One: Watch the video above! It features the Doctor, Amy and Rory who’ll tell you about the competition. Plus, there’s info and advice from Steven Moffat (Doctor Who’s Lead Writer and Executive Producer), Beth Willis (Executive Producer), Marcus Wilson (Producer) and Caroline Henry (Script Editor).

Step Two: Visit the BBC Learning site for more information about how to enter Script to Screen. It’s as simple as that!

You’ll find a stack of hints and help on the site and even if you’re not eligible to enter the competition, it’s well worth visiting to check out the exclusive Doctor Who goodies like videos with the cast and crew, monster facts and script extracts.

But if you are entering… good luck! And maybe see you on set soon!
