This issue of Doctor Who: The DVD Files features an exclusive DVD that contains New Earth with Tooth & Claw, which feature The Tenth Doctor alongside Rose Tyler, and have been written by Russell T Davies.

The Doctor Who DVD Files started on the fourteenth of January in the United Kingdom and Ireland after a successful test launch. Each DVD that comes with the magazine does include subtitles for people with hearing problems.

Contents for issue eight of Doctor Who: The DVD Files include: an episode guide of both New Earth and Tooth & Claw, Bannakaffalatta, The Editor, Enemies of Humanity, Ice Warriors, Rose Tyler, Creature Features and Robot Spiders

The eighth issue of Doctor Who: The DVD Files is only available for purchase until the sixth of May for the RRP of £6.99 around the United Kingdom and Ireland. The next issue of Doctor Who: The DVD Files features an exclusive DVD with the Tenth Doctor episodes School Reunion and The Girl in the Fireplace.
